Qinchuan Village is located in Langchuan Township, Jiangjia Town, Chun’an County, Zhejiang Province. The entire village is slightly belt-shaped and is about one kilometer from northwest to southeast. It is an ancient village with a history of more than 750 years. There is a small river running east-west, dividing the village in half from the village head to the village foot. Looking down from the top of the mountain, the entire village forms a Chinese character ‘Wang’ along the small river. At present, there are still a large number of ancient dwellings built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the entire village, accounting for about 60%. When entering the village, you can first see a corridor bridge with four corners upturned spanning the river, called ‘Jinde Bridge’, which was built during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. The entire village is traversed by a small river. There are many households on both sides of the river, and there are also stone slab roads leading into the river along the bank. It is an ancient bridge, flowing water and ancient dwellings with primitive simplicity. The characteristic of Qinchuan Village lies in that it is a huge ancient architectural complex. There are also three large camphor trees with towering ancient trees, which can make people feel the long history of the village. Most of the dwellings here are patio houses. There are brick carvings on the door eaves, and the carved figures are vivid. Among them are figures from ‘Romance of the Three Kingdoms’ and ‘Dream of the Red Chamber’. Opening hours: Open all year round and all day long. Tips: Some farmers in Qinchuan Village have opened farmhouse inns with complete facilities, which can provide accommodation and catering for tourists.
