Baohu Benmayuan is located in Baohushan, Tianhengdao Provincial Tourist Resort, Jimo District, Qingdao City. It covers an area of 1,300 mu and has a total investment of 400 million yuan. With the theme of ‘western equestrianism + tourism’, it is a comprehensive tourist resort scenic area integrating equestrian events, amusement and picking, parent-child amusement, leisure vacation and accommodation and catering.
Baohu Benmayuan is a 3A tourist scenic area with equestrian as the main business format. The operating entity is Qingdao Zhongma Sports Tourism Industry Development Tourism Company. On the basis of engaging in professional western equestrian competitions and training and teaching for many years, the scenic area combines its tourism business format to form a tourist complex with characteristics, professionalism, experience and rationality. Tourism projects include horseback riding experience, children’s amusement park, parent-child park, colorful slide, glass observation tower, color drill slide, time tunnel, dinosaur valley, expansion camp, viewing of ‘Shunshun’, a Ferghana horse, internet-famous bridge, zoo, cruise ship, shouting fountain, wilderness farm, water bicycle, water pressure, western small train, jungle crossing, jungle magic net and so on. In addition, the scenic area provides accommodation services such as ordinary guest rooms, characteristic wooden houses and catering. Baohu Benmayuan has won honorary titles such as ‘Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site in Shandong Province’ and ‘Rural Tourism Farmhouse in China’. It is a western equestrian paradise in China and also currently the only national AAA-level equestrian characteristic scenic area in the country.
