Baxia Gorge is located to the west of Zhanqiao Seaside and at the seaside in the south of Xizhen. It was originally two reefs. In the 1980s, embankments were built and the sea was reclaimed. Now it has become a new seaside scenic area. Since the eight roads in the area are named after eight famous gorges in China, and it is intended to stand side by side with the famous ‘Eight Great Passes’ in Qingdao and compete for beauty, it is called ‘Eight Great Gorges’. To visit Baxia Gorge, you can take a stroll along Xilingxia Road. Xilingxia Road is close to the seaside, and the seaside side is surrounded by a stone guardrail. Strolling along the coast, you can enjoy the coastal scenery of Baxia Gorge.
