Qingdao Haiquan Bay • Ocean Star Ferris Wheel is located in the China Travel Haiquan Bay Resort. Standing at an impressive height of 88 meters, the Ocean Star Ferris Wheel features 54 suspended viewing capsules and is currently the tallest Ferris wheel in Qingdao. It stands tall by the Aoshan Bay, much like the May Wind by the Fushan Bay, signaling to all that this is Qingdao. From the Ferris wheel, you can take in the panoramic view of the golden beaches stretching for miles and the vast ocean waves crashing below.
Operational hours are from January 1st to June 25th, 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM; from June 26th to September 1st, Monday to Thursday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM; and Friday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The Ferris wheel may adjust its operation status due to adverse weather conditions such as strong winds or rain and snow, or for seasonal transitions. The last Monday of each month is designated for monthly maintenance and will be closed. During major events, summer holidays, and statutory holidays, the operating hours may be extended appropriately.
