Qingdao Science and Technology Museum is located at No. 80, Ao Southeast Road, Hongdao Street, Chengyang District, Qingdao. The main building of the first phase covers an area of 51,000 square meters, with the theme of ‘Ocean • Science • Human’, integrating functions such as science popularization, science experience, scientific experiments, and technology training. The project includes six permanent exhibition halls, one children’s hall, one temporary exhibition hall, and five science popularization cinemas.
As a key livelihood project for the city, Qingdao Science and Technology Museum is a public welfare infrastructure for carrying out popular science activities and exhibition display activities. It serves as a platform and an important base for the popularization of scientific knowledge and the improvement of scientific and cultural quality among the public, aiming to provide high-quality free open services and a variety of exhibition and teaching activities for the citizens. The museum is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 16:30 all year round; closed on Mondays and Tuesdays all day; and open from 09:00 to 16:30 on National Day.Qingdao Science and Technology Museum
