Qingdao Tangdao Bay National Wetland Park is located in the west ring island area of Qingdao Phoenix International Tourism Island, between Yintan Sha Road and Tangdao Bay. The park started construction in July 2010 and was completed and opened on April 27, 2012. In the planning and design of the entire park, the theme of ‘Golden Bay Coast’ is highlighted. Relying on the advantages of ‘natural tidal flats’ and ‘wetland landscapes’ on the south bank of Tangdao Bay, and cleverly drawing on the experience of well-known landscape parks at home and abroad such as Shanghai World Expo Park, Cairns Park in Australia, and Sydney Darling Harbour. What is constructed is a coastal landscape park that meets the needs of high-end tourism and vacation, reflects island customs and bay culture, and is mainly for static leisure.
