Established in 1956, Qingdao Workers’ Hot Spring Sanatorium is affiliated with the Shandong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and is one of the earlier hot spring sanatoriums in Qingdao. On September 26, 2019, the first phase of the Qingdao Workers’ Hot Spring Sanatorium began trial operations. The project spanned nine months and eight days, and officially opened to the public on December 10, 2019. The facility is open year-round from 09:00 to 21:00. Preferential policies include free admission for children under 1.2 meters tall and half-price admission for children between 1.2 and 1.5 meters tall. Retired officials are admitted free of charge with a valid retirement certificate.
