The Qingdao Youth Football Stadium is located in Chengyang District, Qingdao City. It is the first professional football stadium with 50,000 seats in Shandong Province. Construction began on July 31, 2020 and was officially completed on April 8, 2023. It covers an area of about 160,000 square meters and has a total construction area of about 194,000 square meters, with 50,000 seats. The design inspiration of the stadium comes from the sea, meaning ‘surge of waves’, highlighting the open, modern, dynamic and fashionable urban temperament of Qingdao. Supporting facilities include two 11-a-side football training fields, a multi-functional hall containing three standard basketball courts, and a swimming pool containing a standard swimming pool and a warm-up training pool.
