Qingdao Youth Science Academy was established on July 19, 2003, and is affiliated with the Comprehensive Practice Education Center of Qingdao Middle Schools. It serves as a science education base for primary and secondary school students in Qingdao. The Qingdao Youth Science Academy currently has five departments: the Department of Invention and Creation, the Department of Information Technology, the Department of Marine Biology and Environmental Protection, the Electronics Department, and the Modeling Department.
