Qingdao Zoo features 18 distinctive animal enclosures, including the Ape Pavilion, Orangutan Pavilion, Monkey Hill, Aviary, Songbird Pavilion, Lion and Tiger Hill, and Children’s Pet Garden, showcasing hundreds of species and thousands of animals.
The zoo spans a vast area, covering 310,000 square meters of hilly forest, where various animal buildings (cages) are scattered and uniquely designed, following the natural contours of the land.
Between the exhibition areas, stone steps, pebble paths, and stone slab trails wind and intersect, connecting seamlessly with the main park road.
Opening hours are from 08:00 to 16:30 all year round.
