Qingfeng Stronghold is charming with its spectacular Danxia landform, primitive mountain village stockades and well-preserved natural scenery. The Danxia landform in the scenic area is even better than that of Wuyi Mountain and Fangyan. Among them, the ‘Six Bridges and Caves’ is one of the cave groups in China’s Danxia landform. In Qingfeng Stronghold, there are Hu Gong Temple built in the Song Dynasty and Huili Temple, an ancient temple with a history of a thousand years. There is also a viewing pavilion overlooking the ‘Ten Mile Gallery Liu Xiulong’ at a high place and a Feiyun Pavilion built against the cliff. In addition, there are Taiping Cave where weapons were made by the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom and Red Army Cave where the Red Army of Xiying set up a command post. There are also virgin forests with tigers running towards waterfalls and a leisure area for water orchestras. The Qingfeng Stronghold scenic area is gourd-shaped, covering an area of 25 square kilometers. It is known as having ‘one pit, two valleys, three peaks, four pools, five rocks and six caves’. One pit is Yankeng Village. The two valleys are Xianren Valley. The three peaks are Incense Burner Peak. The four pools are Misai Pool, Dripping Pool, Maple Pool and Seven Jin Pool. The five rocks are Jingong Rock, Wangxian Rock, Shenlian Rock and Shuangshi Rock. The six caves are General Cave, Eight Immortals Cave, Guanyin Cave and Tongtian Cave. Qingfeng Stronghold is located in Wuyi, Zhejiang, known as the ‘hometown of hot springs’.
