The Qingtian Stone Sculpture Cultural Tourism Area is situated in the core of Qingtian, a hometown for overseas Chinese, and comprises attractions such as the Qingtian Stone Sculpture Museum and China Stone Sculpture City. The Qingtian Stone Sculpture Museum showcases the 6,000-year history of Qingtian stone carving, over 170 types of original stones, and the stone carving works created by artists through the ages in exhibition halls. It is a museum themed around stone carving culture. China Stone Sculpture City serves as both a stone carving market and a place to observe the creative process of stone carving craftsmanship.
Opening times are from 08:00 to 17:00 all year round; from 08:30 to 17:00 with preferential policies. Children under 1.2 meters (not including) are admitted for free; those between 1.2 meters (not including) and 1.4 meters (not including) receive discounted tickets. Elderly people aged 70 and above (including) with a valid senior citizen card are admitted for free. Military personnel with a valid officer’s certificate receive discounted tickets.
