Qingyan Temple Scenic Area – A Natural Paradise in Liaoning

Qingyan Temple Scenic Area is located in Changxingdian Town, Beizhenzhi City, Liaoning Province, at the southern end of the Yimula Mountain, covering an area of 12 square kilometers. The scenic area is known for its peculiar rocks, unique pines, perilous peaks, and secluded caves. Throughout the year, the scenery is picturesque and the climate is pleasant. In spring, pear blossoms adorn the hills; in summer, waterfalls dance among the clouds; in autumn, the mountains are ablaze with red leaves; and in winter, the snow-covered branches create a serene atmosphere. The natural scenery and cultural landscapes complement each other, with the “Eight Scenic Spots and Twelve Wonders” each displaying their own distinctive features, making the area a magnificent sight.

The area is well-equipped with facilities. A special electric vehicle line is provided for tourists, especially the elderly, to ascend the mountain conveniently, saving both time and effort. There are eight wooden rest areas of various sizes scattered throughout the scenic area, located at beautiful spots such as Du Shanxuan and Baoquguan, where visitors can rest, chat, entertain, and enjoy the beautiful scenery, as well as take photos to commemorate their visit.


The opening hours are from 08:30 to 15:30 all year round. Preferential policies include: Children under 6 years old or under 1.3 meters in height (not including 1.3 meters) enter for free; Elderly aged 70 and above with valid identification enter for free; those aged between 60 and 70 years old (not including 70) with identification enter at half price; Minors over 1.3 meters and under 18 years old with valid identification enter at half price; Full-time undergraduate and below students with proof enter at half price; Veterans, active military personnel, the disabled, and active-duty public security police with valid identification enter for free; Religious personnel with relevant proof receive preferential treatment.


Service facilities include a parking lot: [Qingyan Temple Parking Lot] with a reference price of ¥20 per entry, located outside the Qingyan Temple Scenic Area at Changxing Town, Beizhenzhi City, Jinzhou City; with a capacity of 1100 spaces. Restrooms are located throughout the Qingyan Temple Scenic Area, near facilities/buildings/venues, and are clearly marked with signs.
