Qingyuan Mountain is located in the southern border of Hedong Township, Ji’an City. Qingyuan Mountain has an altitude of 320 meters, and the peaks are continuous for more than 10 kilometers. The ancient trees on the mountain are lush and fragrant. The green springs and emerald peaks each have their own characteristics. There are more than 30 places such as pools, springs, streams, and gorges. Flying waterfalls and flowing springs such as Poxue, Hupao, Pearl, and Water Triples pour down in the dense forest. Climbing Tianyue, Furong, Cuiping, Huagai and other peaks, they are tall and majestic, and the beautiful scenery is like a painting. Scholars and literati of all dynasties have come here admiringly to visit the mountains, worship Buddha, give lectures and teach apprentices, and compose poems and odes, leaving many precious ink marks. Only the ‘Records of Qingyuan’ contains more than 500 poems and essays. The inscriptions and stone carvings of Yan Zhenqing, Huang Tingjian, Yang Gang, Wang Shouren and Wen Tianxiang are even more treasures in the mountain. Now in the mountain, there are scenic spots and historical sites such as Jingju Temple, Seventh Patriarch Pagoda, Feilai Pagoda, Zuguan, Daiyue Bridge, Yingfeng Bridge, Longtan, Hupao Spring, and Shijian Stone for people to visit.
