Qingzhou Museum (New Building) is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Yangtianshan Road and Fenghuangshan Road in Qingzhou City. The exhibition halls of the new building cover a range of cultural relics including ceramics, bronzes, calligraphy, stone carvings, jade, and Buddhist statues. Qingzhou Museum (New Building) features a total of 8 exhibition halls: Qingzhou History Hall, Longxing Temple Buddha Hall, Stone Carving Art Hall, Youlin Hengwang Mansion Hall, Xiangshan Han Tomb Terracotta Hall, Ceramics Hall, Calligraphy and Painting Hall, and Temporary Exchange Hall.
The museum’s exhibitions employ high-tech methods such as picture interpretation, text explanation, and audio-visual technology to allow visitors to gain a deep understanding of the cultural value and historical significance of the exhibits.
The museum is closed all day on Mondays throughout the year; open from 09:00 to 17:00 from Tuesdays to Sundays; and open on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day from 09:00 to 17:00, with the museum clearing at 16:30.
