The Qiuliu Poetry Society is located within the Qiuliu Garden in the new scenic area of Daming Lake, and it was established in memory of the Qing Dynasty poet Wang Shizhen.
Upon entering the society, a bronze statue stands to the right of the entrance, dressed in traditional Qing Dynasty attire. The figure is depicted with its right hand raised and a book in its left hand, seemingly lost in contemplation as it composes poetry.

Beside his left foot lies an open book-shaped stone tablet with information about Wang Shizhen, which describes the statue as representing his ‘brilliant and ambitious image during his first visit to Jinan.’

Above the main gate of the Qiuliu Poetry Society, a plaque with the name ‘Qiuliu Garden’ is hung, flanked by a pair of couplets ‘Shangshu Tianbeidou’ and ‘Sikou Ludongjia,’ which were a gift from Qian Mingshi to Wang Yuyang during the Qing Dynasty. These couplets were written by the modern sinologist Mr. Ji Xianlin.
