The Quanzhou Buddhist Museum covers an area of over 3,700 square meters, featuring dozens of halls, rooms, and houses, all constructed with wooden facades. The museum consists of five main halls, with the central three halls adopting the wax corner style architecture, and the having double eaves. These five main halls are arranged in a line directly facing the mountain gate, connected with the eastern and western wings, including the bell tower and stone-carved corridors, forming an integrated and rigorous layout with a solemn and grand appearance.
The five main halls are supported by dozens of giant stone pillars, exquisitely carved with arches and decorations, especially the hollow-out flower windows in each hall, which are diverse in style and innovative in design, making it the best among inland Buddhist museums. The opening hours are subject to the daily opening status.Quanzhou Buddhist Museum: A Majestic Wooden Structure
