The Quanzhou Licheng Huoding Dance, also known as Huoding Public and Huoding Granny, is a traditional dance in Licheng District, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, and is one of the provincial-level intangible cultural heritages in Fujian. This ancient folk dance is prevalent in the Quanzhou area and originates from the ‘fire cauldron stepping’ in local temple fairs, symbolizing ‘burning away all disasters and welcoming a hundred blessings.’ It is a common form of dance performance during temple fairs, weddings, funerals, and other celebratory events in the Quanzhou region. Open all year round from 12:00 to 21:00.
