Queen’s Road is the first major coastal city center road built after Hong Kong’s opening as a port. This area is the heart of Hong Kong, passing through the essence of commercial and financial districts.
Queen’s Road East was formerly the waterfront area of Wan Chai, known for selling rosewood, huali furniture, and rattan products.

On the mountain side, there is a Da Wang Hong Sheng Temple with a history of over 136 years.

This is also the underground entrance to the Hopewell Center, and the revolving restaurant on the 66th floor of the center is a great place to enjoy food and appreciate the cityscape.

At the intersection of Queen’s Road East and Wan Chai Gap Road is the old Wan Chai Post Office, which is now a protected historical site.

It is open all year round, 24/7, with specific business hours subject to the daily opening status.
