Red Dot Design Museum Xiamen is the third Red Dot Design Museum globally and the first in China. Each year, it introduces over 10 international design exhibitions, design courses, and design projects. It showcases more than 1,000 award-winning works from the four major Red Dot Awards from 70 countries and regions around the world. Additionally, over 300 award-winning design works are available for hands-on experience in multiple functional areas. It serves as an entrance to understand global design trends and feel the charm of design up close.

Opening Hours:

Open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 – 18:00 throughout the year.

Closed all day on Monday throughout the year.

Open from 10:00 – 18:00 on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Tomb-Sweeping Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day.

Discounted Ticket:

For “The Power of Design” Exhibition:

1. Students (up to master’s degree), people aged 60 and above, military veterans, and minors aged 6 and above can enjoy preferential policies. Please purchase tickets at the information desk with relevant valid certificates. (Note: Valid student certificates refer to full-time junior college, undergraduate, and master’s degree certificates from ordinary institutions of higher learning, as well as primary and secondary school student certificates.)

For “The Miracle of the Magic Mirror” Exhibition:

1. Disabled people and active-duty military personnel can enjoy preferential ticket policies. Please purchase tickets at the information desk with relevant valid certificates.

Free Ticket:

For “The Power of Design” Exhibition:

1. Children aged 6 and below, disabled people, and active-duty military personnel can exchange tickets at the information desk with valid certificates and enter.

2. Each child aged 12 and below must be accompanied by an adult. (One adult is limited to accompany one free-ticket child. If there are more, corresponding exhibition tickets need to be purchased.)

For “The Miracle of the Magic Mirror” Exhibition:

1. Children with a height of 80 cm and below can exchange tickets at the information desk and enter.
