Red Theater, formerly known as the Beijing Chongwen District Workers’ Cultural Palace Grand Theater, caters to a more civilian audience. It has brought traditional quyi performances back into the theater, allowing this art form to return from television to the stage. The theater is open all year round from 16:00 to 18:30 daily.
