Relang Pavilion is located in Yantai Mountain Scenic Area. It is a pavilion for tourists to take a short rest and view the sea view. The architectural style of Relang Pavilion combines ancient and modern elements, is exquisitely unique, and stands firmly on the rocks struck by waves. From a distance, sometimes it looks like a painted pleasure boat swimming in the water, and sometimes it looks like a celestial pavilion in the ethereal mist. Relang Pavilion is the best place to view the ‘sunrise in Zhifu’. As the morning mist gradually dissipates, the outline of the sea and sky becomes gradually clear. The rose-colored solar prominence suddenly erupts from the chromosphere of the sun, shaped like a soaring flame. First, there is an arc-shaped halo, which gradually expands. In a short while, the sea and sky are dyed a dazzling orange-red. In a glance, the sea holds up a ring of fire. This ring of fire gently pulsates and rises and falls several times in the waves. Finally, it rises up with dripping seawater. Immediately, the mountains are draped in rosy clouds, the blue sea shines with gold, presenting a brilliant scene. Silver gulls play in the waves, adding a special charm.
