The Rongcheng Museum is located on the south side of Fachangyuan in Chishan Scenic Area. It has three major exhibition halls and six exhibition areas. Rongcheng’s folk customs and folk culture have a long history. Folk paper-cuts have smooth lines and are simple and fresh; sculptures are rough and bold and lifelike. From Rongcheng dialect, one can feel the boldness and enthusiasm of Rongcheng people. From folk handicrafts, one can see the ingenuity of Rongcheng people. Various exhibits mainly reflect the representative folk phenomena and inheritance changes in modern Rongcheng through means such as physical objects, pictures and sculpture simulations, showing the local conditions and customs of Rongcheng and the diligence and wisdom of Rongcheng people.
Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year from 08:30 to 11:30 and from 13:30 to 16:30; closed all day on Monday throughout the year; open from 09:00 to 17:00 on National Day. The museum is closed on Monday every week (except legal holidays). Admission stops at 11:00 in the morning and at 16:00 in the afternoon. Please take away the stored items before closing. Scenic area interpretation: There is a service desk in the hall. The service desk is equipped with wireless language tour guide equipment to provide interpretation services for the audience. Minors are free.
