China Red Sandalwood Museum is a museum themed on red sandalwood art and classical traditional furniture. The museum showcases thousands of Ming and Qing furniture, traditional classical furniture, and miniature ancient architectural landscapes made of precious red sandalwood. Here, you can fully understand the charm of red sandalwood art. The Red Sandalwood Museum is an antique building in the style of the Ming and Qing dynasties.

At the beginning of its construction, it was personally guided by woodworking and tile-making experts from the Palace Museum. The building itself is a exquisite work of art. The courtyard here is antique and can be taken pictures as souvenirs. The museum has five floors in total. The first, second, third, and fifth floors are exhibition halls. The fourth floor is mainly for VIP rooms. After entering the museum, you can visit layer by layer.

It takes about two hours to tour around. In the center of the exhibition hall on the first floor is a replica of the throne in the Qianqing Palace of the Forbidden City. It is golden all over and is the same as the one in the Forbidden City. It is very noble. In the exhibition hall, there are also miniature wood carvings of buildings such as Qianqiu Pavilion, Wanshou Pavilion, Feiyun Tower, and the corner tower of the Forbidden City.

The Qing-style main hall is completely arranged according to the furnishings of an ordinary living room in the Qing Dynasty. The exhibition hall of the shelf bed shows the appearance of Chinese classical beds. You can take a look one by one. The second floor is mainly composed of many precious screens. The carvings on the screens are very exquisite and can be visited in detail. There are also original displays such as the Yangxin Hall of the Forbidden City, the Ming-style main hall, the traditional study, and the traditional bridal chamber.

The multimedia exhibition hall in the center can understand the construction and development of the museum and the connotative knowledge of traditional wood processing through video. In addition, the souvenir store is also located on the second floor, selling some small wood carvings. You can choose and purchase according to your personal interests. The essence on the third floor of the museum mainly includes two places: the miniature of a courtyard house and the red sandalwood carving painting of ‘Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival’.

The miniature of the courtyard house is very large, about 2-3 meters high. The carvings of the courtyard and buildings are very delicate and pay attention to details. It is a precious work of art. Be sure to take a good look. ‘Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival’ is also one of the exhibits in the museum. It restores the grand scene of ‘Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival’ in the form of wood carving.

It is very wonderful. In addition, there are also exhibition halls of golden nanmu and Buddhist halls on this floor, which can be visited one by one. The fifth floor is the tea bar rest area of the museum. You can come here to rest and drink tea. In the center of the fifth floor, there is also an exhibit, which is a miniature wood carving of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests in the Temple of Heaven.

It is also very complicated and fine. You can visit it.
