Rui Fu Xiang (Main Street Store)

Rui Fu Xiang is a century-old store with a world-renowned reputation, ranking first among the ‘Eight Auspicious Shops’ of the old capital. A popular Beijing saying, ‘Headwear from Ma Juyuan, clothing from Rui Fu Xiang, and shoes from Nei Liansheng,’ vividly depicts the fame of Rui Fu Xiang throughout the city. In the first year of the Daoguang Emperor’s reign (1821), the first Rui Fu Xiang was established on Zhoucun Main Street. Today, Rui Fu Xiang in Zhoucun has transformed into a museum, where you can explore the development history of ancient Chinese silk, admire the diverse attire of various dynasties, and experience the sincerity and honesty of the old Rui Fu Xiang merchants. The opening hours and business status are subject to the day’s actual operating conditions.
