Rulu is one of the old residences by West Lake in Hangzhou.
The early owner was Lin JiuRu, the manager of Shanghai Zengyu Raw Materials Company. Hence, it was named ‘Rulu’.
It is located on the north shore of West Lake. At the entrance, there is a white marble statue of Avalokitesvara. It faces West Lake and backs against a gable.
It is open all day throughout the year.
