The old wooden house of Sanmao, a well-known female writer, in Huangjueya Old Street, Nan’an District, Chongqing is a green-tiled wooden house with a quadrangle structure and two floors. Sanmao, originally named Chen Maoping (later renamed Chen Ping), was born in Chongqing in 1943. In 1948, she moved with her parents. From birth to six years old, she lived in the old residence in Huangjueya Old Street, Nan’an District. In 1989, she returned here. Opening hours: Open from 10:00 to 18:00 all year round.
