San Yin Tan is a picturesque site that combines the beauty of peaks, caves, ponds, and streams, creating a unique natural elegance. The area is divided into three distinct ponds: upper, middle, and lower.
Water from San Yin Tan cascades from three cliffs, forming three separate waterfalls. Beneath these falls are ponds, which seem bottomless and mysterious. The Upper Pond is flanked by towering rocks on both sides, with steep cliffs and deep ravines. The rocks are covered with moss, and beside the gullies, ancient pines stand tall. A stone bridge spans the pond, with waterfalls cascading down the cliffs, creating a linear flow of water. The water crashes against the cliff walls, creating a thunderous echo. On the bridge in the valley bottom, mist rises and the air is filled with a cool, refreshing fog. The Middle Pond is characterized by a jumble of boulders, with water flowing around them in a complex and twisted path, overcoming numerous obstacles before breaking through the rock layers. Suddenly, it bursts forth from the cliff, refracting to the east and forming a graceful waterfall. The mountain breeze blows water droplets in all directions, creating a scene that is both misty and rainy, evoking a sense of poetic beauty. The Lower Pond is filled with a multitude of large and small boulders, piled and interwoven, covering an area of over ten square meters. Among them stands a stone pillar peak, over 20 meters high. The stone pillar rises above the pond, with the deep pond beneath it, each revealing half of their forms. The site is open year-round and accessible all day long.San Yin Tan: A Scenic Wonderland of Peaks, Caves, Ponds, and Streams
