The Sanqing Ancient Cave in Nanshan is located in the Nanshan Stone Carving Scenic Area. Sanqing refers to Yuqing, Shangqing, and Taiqing. On the upper layer of the main square pillar on the central wall of the cave, the higher deities of Taoism, ‘Sanqing’, are carved. In the middle, the Shangqing Lingbao Heavenly Venerable is seated in a three-legged carriage. On the left is the Yuqing Primordial Heavenly Venerable, and on the right is the Taiqing Grand Supreme Elderly Lord.
