The Sanya Dinosaur Museum is the southernmost dinosaur museum in China. The museum houses more than 500 fossil specimens of dinosaurs, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish. It introduces fossil specimens of the ‘Top Ten Discoveries’ with international influence. The museum has six exhibition hall units and an outdoor experience area. There are a total of 13 themed exhibition areas, mainly including the archaeological excavation site reproduction area, the immersive experience hall with a Jurassic-themed circular screen, the dinosaur fossil restoration viewing area, the dinosaur ecosystem, and the youth dinosaur research institute.
The museum space has a strong sense of the times. Combined with dynamic technological interaction, it creates an immersive experience. Based on specimens and authoritative popular science knowledge, the domestic authoritative paleontology expert team takes telling the story of Chinese dinosaurs as the main line and creates situational products that can be experienced. Experience the cross-temporal interaction between dinosaurs and humans. The outdoor classroom space covers the outdoor area of Sanya mangroves.
