The Sanya Haitang Bay Sea China Golf Course is an international championship-level 18-hole golf course. It is located in the Baoweiling of Qingtian Village in C10 area of Haitang Bay Development Zone, covering an area of 980 mu with a total investment of 150 million yuan. The golf course construction project was launched in 2006. In June 2009, construction officially started. In 2011, it can officially open for business.
At present, 110 million yuan of investment has been completed. The golf course is designed and constructed by the world-renowned golf course design company IMG of the United States. It can host large international golf events and is also the golf course that has been basically completed in Haitang Bay Development Zone. Surrounded by the tranquil inner sea and the magnificent outer sea, the 18 holes all have a view of the sea. The inner sea, outer sea, and Sea China give the club its name. The golf course is built around the clubhouse by the sea, gathering natural elements such as seawater, beaches, boulders, and mountains to form a beautiful natural picture.
