The large-scale real-life performance ‘Red Detachment of Women’ in the coconut sea is a sister production to the national real-life performance benchmark ‘Song of Everlasting Sorrow’. The performance combines art forms such as dance, drama, music, and stunts. It is vividly interpreted by 300 professional actors, reproducing the legendary story of a group of teenage girls in the Hainan revolution in the 1930s who were reborn through fire and became heroic women.
The performance is set up with a movable stage with 2,400 seats and an openable and movable stage that vividly changes with the plot, presenting a three-dimensional and magnificent island landscape painting and bringing an immersive interactive viewing experience. The vivid stage design, cool cutting-edge technologies such as naked-eye 3D, stunt explosions, and 180-meter large-span real-person wire stunt performances present a multimedia light and shadow feast, breaking through the imagination boundary of stage performances and bringing a double shock of vision and hearing.
