The Self-Drive Tourism Campground in Wuzhou City, Guangxi (Guangdong-Guangxi Border), is one of the first provincial border self-drive tourism reception points in Guangxi. It is located at the scenic Nan’an Volcano in Wuzhou City, Guangxi, where the mountains are lush, the waters are clear, the air is fresh, and the grasslands are vast. As night falls, you can enjoy a distant view of the beautiful Wuzhou cityscape across the river. The campground is conveniently located next to National Highway 321, just 2.5 kilometers (a 10-minute drive) from the downtown area of Wuzhou City, and approximately 3.5 hours’ drive from Guangzhou, making it an ideal spot for border tourism and self-drive tourism camping and rest. The campground covers an area of 480 acres, with 450 acres of grassland, including 24 standard grass football fields, one 20,000m2 grass golf practice field, four indoor basketball courts, four beach volleyball courts, two beach football fields, one indoor badminton hall (with nine courts), one indoor table tennis hall (with ten tables and six billiard tables), two sand tennis courts, one 150m2 swimming pool, one sauna and beauty salon, one meeting room each of 150-200m2, and other leisure, entertainment, and fitness facilities. The campground’s restaurant can accommodate up to 300 diners at a time. Renowned Wuzhou chefs are hired to prepare authentic Wuzhou delicacies, including authentic Wuzhou paper-wrapped chicken and authentic Wuzhou龟苓膏, among other local specialties. The shopping mall offers a rich variety of Wuzhou specialties, including Wuzhou gemstone jewelry, Wuzhou龟苓膏, Bingquan soy milk crystals, dragon boat preserved meats, and Wuzhou Liubao tea, providing one-stop service for purchasing authentic Wuzhou specialties. The campground has a 42-acre camping and barbecue area and can assist in ordering various fresh barbecue foods. The campground is well-equipped with over 150 parking spaces for vehicles of all sizes, and also includes an auto maintenance and repair department to provide comprehensive services for tourists in need of car care and repair.
