Taipa Square is located in São Lázaro Parish, Macau. The original site was Taipa Stadium. It is one of the four major squares in Macau. The government started construction in May 2005, demolishing the stadium and integrating a section of Avenida do Conselheiro Ferreira de Almeida from the Cultural Affairs Bureau to the Tap Seac Gallery into Taipa Square. The roads on the ground square are all paved with Portuguese gravel. There is a basement parking lot with a height of 5 meters that can accommodate more than 60 tourist buses. The square is equipped with rest areas, food and entertainment centers, and basement shopping malls. In addition, there is a ‘U’-shaped traffic tunnel underground on the square to replace a section of Avenida do Conselheiro Ferreira de Almeida that has been merged by the square. Opening hours: open all day throughout the year. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.
