The Seymour Synagogue, also known as the Rathill Synagogue. In 1921, a grand opening ceremony was held. It is a Greek temple-style building with a large scale and magnificent decoration. The synagogue was once the religious activity center of Shanghai Hebrews. The adjacent Shanghai Jewish School was also the main youth education base of the Shanghai Jewish community. In 1948, after the departure of Shanghai Sephardic Hebrews, the synagogue was closed.
