The Shandong Art Museum was established in July 1977. The new museum building features a clever fusion of a cube representing the ‘city’ and a cube variant representing the ‘mountain’. The skylight design on the top floor symbolizes the ‘spring’, integrating the characteristics of ‘Spring City’ Jinan. The museum continuously introduces high-quality art exhibitions from both domestic and international sources and widely promotes a variety of cultural welfare activities. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00 all year round; closed all day on Mondays; and open from 09:00 to 19:00 on Dragon Boat Festival and National Day.
