Located in Jinan City, Shandong Province, Shandong Sports Center is a modern comprehensive sports activity center, covering an area of 34 hectares. It is one of the top 12 sports activity centers in the country. The center served as the main venue for the first National City Games in 1988 and hosted the 2004 Asian Cup Football Tournament. It was the original home field for Shandong Luneng, affectionately known by fans as the ‘Holy Stadium.’ The overall layout is centered around the competition hall, with practice halls and a swimming pool on the east and west sides, forming a ‘trigram’ shape.
In front of the three halls, there is a spacious architectural square, green spaces, parking lots, and areas for audience dispersal. The external square of the venue is wide and spacious, with an additional tennis court on the south side, ensuring the assembly and dispersal of large crowds and traffic in a short time. The surrounding area is open, with lush greenery.
The opening hours and business status are subject to the actual conditions on the day. Badminton fitness is open from 8:00 to 18:00. Fitness dance sessions are open in two time slots: morning session from 7:00 to 8:30 and morning session from 8:40 to 10:20. The swimming pool has three sessions: first session from 10:00 to 11:30, second session from 11:45 to 13:15, and third session from 13:30 to 15:00. The track and field area inside the stadium is open from 8:00 to 11:30. The basketball park is open from 6:30 to 18:30.
