The Cretaceous Dinosaur Geopark, also known as Shandong Zhucheng Dinosaur National Geopark, is a national science education base divided into six major functional areas: the Dinosaur Museum Science and Research Area, the Dinosaur Garden Cultural and Entertainment Area, the Dinosaur Island Dense Forest Leisure Area, the Dinosaur Garden Sunlight Greenhouse Viewing Area, the Dinosaur Lake Water Tourism Area, and the Dragon Tower Ascending Bird’s-Eye View Area.
The park boasts a representative global scale of dinosaur fossil groups, including the Dinosaur Fossil Corridor and the Fossil Ridge, employing various means such as ancient environment restoration, sound and light reenactment, and cultural and artistic performances to fully display the shock of geological sites and vividly reveal the mystery of dinosaur survival, reproduction, and extinction.
