The Shangbao Terraced Fields are located in the Qiyun Mountain Nature Reserve in the western part of Chongyi County. It is 50 kilometers away from Chongyi County seat. The total area reaches 30,000 mu. It is a relatively large Hakka terraced field. The terraced fields are built along the mountain. They stretch for hundreds of mu. The vertical height difference is nearly 1,000 meters. There are also scattered villages dotted among them.
During the farming period, spring water irrigates layer by layer from the top to the bottom of the mountain, presenting a magnificent sight. During the harvest period, colorful crops add infinite vitality to the terraced fields. This is a historical witness and cultural heritage of the Hakka people’s long-term pursuit of survival and development in the natural environment.Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:00 to 18:00.

Children: Free for those under 6 years old (inclusive) or under 1.2 meters in height (inclusive); preferential treatment for those between 1.2 meters (exclusive) and 1.5 meters in height (inclusive) or under 14 years old (inclusive).
The elderly: Free for those aged 65 years old (inclusive) or above.
