ROJO Art Space, the venue for the resident performances of the ‘Shanghai Blue Man Show’, is located at 570 Huaihai West Road, Changning District. It is an important part of the new commercial complex – Shanghai A.F.A. Relying on the cultural and heritage buildings carrying a heavy industrial imprint and artistic sediment as well as the unique value of large urban ecological parks, the Shanghai A.F. A project integrates culture, ecology, and technology as its concepts, fusing art, park, and digital operation with commerce. It will open a new cultural experience venue in Shanghai and become a new benchmark for urban cultural creativity. The ‘Shanghai Blue Man Show’ is equipped with high-end audio-visual equipment, including 77 L-Acoustics speakers, 172 ACME and multi-brand computer lights, and a liftable LED screen, jointly presenting a world-class high-end audio-visual experience. The name ‘ROJO’ of the ROJO Art Space is derived from the meaning of’red’ in Spanish, symbolizing the fiery red history of its predecessor steel factory and also heralding the brand-new look of this cultural and artistic park in the new era.
