Participating in this exhibition are five artists, all born after 1993, with studios located in Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Chongqing. Over the past two years, the author has visited their studios on multiple occasions, engaging in continuous dialogue. From the perspective of an observer, these creators have undergone varying degrees of transformation in their work’s appearance and have even explored new paths. Currently, the results are positive, serving as the best reward for their relentless thinking, creation, and efforts to enhance their competitiveness. There have been more than one artist who has discussed with me the topic, ‘Painters are the most aware of where their paintings have gone wrong.’ However, it is in the courage to face problems and the ability to solve them that one’s capabilities are revealed. In fact, this is about having the courage to ‘choose’ and the ability to ‘survive.’ For these artists, the challenge has just begun. The exhibition is open from November 1st to November 28th, with specific business hours subject to daily opening conditions.
