Eleven works on display all belong to the same series: Expansion Series (from 2020 to the present). The term ‘Expansion’ carries multiple meanings; it points to the halo that extends infinitely from the works themselves, or the magnified structure and materiality within an installation, or the process of raw materials being expanded into mass-produced industrial objects, or the underlying metaphor about order and disorder behind restrained visuals. Although the exhibition is curated and presented from Harry’s personal research perspective on Dori Deng’s creations over the past four years, it also invites viewers to actively seek subtle changes between the works, to feel the artist’s creative mood and material techniques at different times. The exhibition is open from August 31 to November 18, with specific business hours subject to the day’s opening status.
