The English title of the exhibition, ‘100 Rabbits Minus 1’, playfully examines the never-ending complex process of pursuing perfection. The number 100, representing completeness, is assigned to a group of rabbits, which are often associated with purity and childhood – the pursuit of perfection often takes shape under the expectations of parents and society. 100 minus 1 signifies incompleteness and inferiority. ‘To stand out and achieve perfection is what we all strive for,’ says Ramirez, ‘but there is always that one step away on the path forward that makes you feel 100 can never truly be achieved. What I want to discuss in the exhibition is this gap in feeling – despite being infinitely close to perfection, it still feels out of reach.’ Opening times are from November 2nd to January 4th, with specific business status subject to daily opening conditions.
