The ‘Happy Bus’ is a cultural and tourism product in Shanghai jointly created by Mahua FunAge and City Sightseeing Bus. It integrates commentary and sightseeing in a comedic way. Based on taking the special sightseeing bus for ‘Reading Buildings’, Shanghai stories are narrated through scriptwriting. Through interactions between performers and passengers inside the bus, a brand new experience of the ‘Reading Buildings’ sightseeing bus is created. The plot mainly revolves around a storyteller obsessed with Shanghai culture, two Shanghai ladies and a thief who have traveled through time from the 25th year of the Republic of China. Passengers can interact with them up close at any time. The time-traveling plot reflects Shanghai’s historical changes and urban cultural spirit. At the same time, the uniquely designed exterior of the bus and the space on the first floor of the bus create a retro atmosphere for photo opportunities. Opening hours: Open all year round from 10:30 to 21:00. Preferential policies: Children: Children under 1 meter (inclusive) are free of charge and do not occupy a seat.
