START Museum of Contemporary Art will launch the first museum solo exhibition of artist Huang Bingjie, titled ‘Diary’, on November 5, 2024. This exhibition is the 18th case study of START Museum of Contemporary Art’s ‘Artist Genealogy Research’. The Artist Genealogy Research is an ongoing research project initiated by START Museum of Contemporary Art since 2018. This pioneering project establishes a continuous academic research platform focusing on the interrelationship between the artist’s personal genealogy and artistic creation, using exhibitions, publications, audio documents, image documents, and past documents to multi-threadedly comb through the artist’s artistic generation. The exhibition will be open from November 5 to December 25, with specific business status subject to the daily opening conditions.
