Joker Xue’s journey with rap began in 2013. In 2016, he became a part of the local rap label WAVE MUZIK in Chongqing, where he embraced the spirit of unity between Sichuan and Chongqing, often expressed as ‘Sichuan and Chongqing are one family’. His musical style is versatile, seamlessly blending fierce and gentle tones, and shifting between rapping and singing with a natural fusion that never feels forced.
In 2017, Joker Xue signed with the Outshine Music label and quickly gained a reputation as the ‘dark horse of Chinese rap’.
