He has become a famous artist in the hot word ‘diaspora’ (migration, diaspora, and nomadic living) in contemporary art. When he went to Paris, he was in his twenties. The’monochrome painting’ that emerged and flourished in South Korea in the 1960s and 1970s has become an art movement and a symbol of the modernization of South Korean art. Studying art in France is to find diverse artistic languages. He wants to build an art world of his own. His pursuit of art is a kind of solemnity and a state of eliminating the concrete and returning to the harmony between things and enlightenment.
