The inheritance exhibition of porcelain painting art of ‘Eight Friends of Zhushan’ in Shanghai is a grand event to showcase the porcelain painting art of the Eight Friends of Zhushan. The Eight Friends of Zhushan is a porcelain painting school formed in Jingdezhen during the Republic of China. It is composed of ten famous porcelain painters including Wang Dafan, Wang Qi, He Xuren, Wang Yeting, Xu Zhongnan, Deng Bishan, Bi Botao, Tian Hexian, Cheng Yiting and Liu Yucen. They combined traditional Chinese painting techniques with ceramic art and created unique new famille rose porcelain plate paintings. Their works are rich and beautiful in style and deeply loved by collectors. Opening hours: From April 15 to December 31, open from 0:00 to 23:00 on Monday.
