The Shanghai Poly Yunjian Theatre is located on Renmin South Road, Songjiang District, adjacent to Songjiang. The venue covers an area of approximately 10,100 square meters, with the main theater boasting 1,200 seats, capable of accommodating a variety of performances including opera, ballet, drama, musicals, and symphonies.
The interior design of the Yunjian Theatre is inspired by the traditional Chinese opera and dance form known as ‘shui xiu’. The design concept is derived from traditional elements such as bamboo scrolls and piano keys. The staircase of the theatre is a distinctive artistic feature, with its rotating arc structure resembling the lifting of shui xiu, showcasing a sense of dynamic beauty. Opening and ticketing hours are from 9:00 to 19:30 every day, subject to the actual operating status on the day.Related posts:
