Shanghai University Museum, also known as the Haipai Culture Museum, is located in the east district of Baoshan Campus, Shanghai University. The institution was initiated on May 18, 2008, and the new museum was officially opened and registered in 2019. The museum currently consists of the Haipai Culture Museum, Shanghai Dialect Culture Exhibition and Experience Hall, Shanghai University History Museum, Qian Weichang Memorial Hall, and the outdoor exhibition area of the history of Shanghai University (1922-1927), known as Suyuan. The total construction area is 8,000 square meters, with an exhibition area of 5,500 square meters, including 1,800 square meters of outdoor exhibition area. The museum is open all year round from 08:30 to 16:30.
